Tipperary County Council will become an official unified authority on Tuesday, 3rd June 2014.
The new authority combines the existing administration of North Tipperary County Council and South Tipperary County Council.
It also amalgamates the Town Councils of Cashel, Tipperary, Clonmel, Carrick-on-Suir, Thurles, Nenagh and Templemore.
This is an historic moment for the county which will provide a stronger, more integrated platform for local service provision.
