Section 38- Marlfield Road


Pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994, as amended by Section 46 of the Public Transport Regulation Act 2009, Tipperary County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to carry out traffic calming measures on the L3620 Marlfield Road, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

The development consists of the construction of a 2m wide footpath on the south side of Marlfield Road from the Cahir/ Abbey Road Junction to Marlfield Village. The proposed Cross section is a minimum 2m wide footpath and minimum 5m wide carriageway. Works also include reinstatement of existing macadam footpaths on the northern side of the carriageway, provision of uncontrolled crossings, removal of existing vegetation to facilitate minimum carriageway width, raising and lowering of manholes and gullies as required and all associated site works.

These documents may be inspected by appointment only during normal office hours, 9:30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday from Thursday 12 August 2021 to Monday 13 September 2021 inclusive (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays.
