Celebrate Spring – Imbolc & Lá Fhéile Bríde – FREE Workshop video online NOW
The ancient celtic festival of Imbolc celebrates the arrival of longer warmer days and the early signs of spring. We also celebrate Lá Fhéile Bríde or St Brigid’s Day on February 1st, one of Ireland’s patron saints.
To commemorate these traditional Irish festivities why not join Nenagh Arts Centre for ‘Celebrate Spring’ where you can create your own St Brigid’s Cross. Sign up to watch the video by Melanie Lorien and watch the easy to follow instructions on the video to create your own creation.
All packs have now been booked, however please do still join us with materials you may have at home. We recommend paper straws, art straws, thin willow or any thin branches from shrubs will also work.
We’d love to see what you created, so when you’re done, just snap a photo and send it back so we can create a montage of Brigid crosses to firstname.lastname@example.org.
