“Virtual Brainstorm” - Online workshop delivery training for artists working in an education context-Led by Visual Artist Julie Forrester.
This 'online workshop delivery training' aims to support artists in exploring flexible and diverse methods to re-engage with teachers and students to deliver Arts in Education or similar projects in new ways using online tools.
Visual artist, Julie Forrester will lead a virtual brainstorm to support artists planning to work in educational or other similar contexts to re-imagine their approach. This session is part practical, part self-reflective. It is an opportunity to explore the creative side of Zoom to inspire fresh ideas for online approaches and for peer to peer sharing of ideas in the classroom/education context. Virtual Brainstorm will mix a few simple practical applications you can use on the platform Zoom with an opportunity to reflect collectively and individually and consider possible approaches.
Julie Forrester is a very experienced visual artist and facilitator and has worked on many educational projects including a particularly interesting project in this context called 'virtually there'.
To ensure there is time for individual questions and reflections, workshop numbers will be limited. Booking is on a first come basis. Please book your place as soon as possible by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
Wednesday September 2nd 11.30am – 12.30pm: Link will be sent to attendees closer to the time.
