Tipperary County Council (Nenagh Municipal District) proposes to make bye-laws under the powers conferred on it by Section 199 of the Local Government Act 2001 as amended by Schedule 3 of the Local Government Reform Act 2014 for:
The use, operation, protection, regulation and management
of Nenagh Town Park
Bye-Laws for the use, operation, protection , regulation and management of Nenagh Town Park were passed by Tipperary County Council at the November meeting of the Nenagh Municipal District. The Bye-Laws come into force as of 10.00 a.m. on Monday 1st December 2014.
The Summer Stars reading programme is running in public libraries throughout the country this summer. Summer Stars is a free programme, open to all children.
Each child who registers for the programme at their local library joins in the fun of reading lots of exciting books during the summer.
Children’s Summer Book Bus – Tipperary Co Council Library Service Children’s Summer Book Bus is on the road again this summer. New child borrowers can join the library at the book bus or, if they are already a member, use the book bus to choose new books and return their old ones. We encourage parents and children to call at the book bus and check out the stock of books.

Storm Lorenzo - Severe Weather Advisory update 4 October
Tipperary County Council’s Severe Weather Team met this morning to review the position in relation to the overall impact of Storm Lorenzo across County Tipperary. The situation wasn’t as bad as was feared. There were a few incidents of fallen trees but no significant issues reported across the County.
Keeping things clean and tidy. #YourCouncil looks after street cleaning and litter management in the county. If you know of any litter or pollution incidents, report them to us and we then investigate and fine those responsible.
#YourCouncil is involved in promoting sport and fitness and as part of that we run sports and leisure facilities that you and your family can make use of?
