Tipperary LCDC is Seeking Applications from the Public for Membership of their LEADER Evaluation Committees
Tipperary Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) is delivering the Rural Development Programme (LEADER) 2014-2020 in Tipperary. Two Independent Evaluation Committees (IEC), one each for South Tipperary and North Tipperary, were established to assess and evaluate all project proposals for RDP funding and we are now seeking applications from persons interested in being appointed to the IEC’s for a panel from which current and future vacancies will be filled. IEC membership will be drawn from the following 4 Pillars:
Economic & Enterprise Development & Job Creation –3 members
1 with expertise on rural development & agriculture;
1 with expertise on rural tourism;
1 with expertise in community economic/business development
Social Inclusion & Youth –1 member
1 with expertise in social inclusion and/or youth affairs
Rural Environment & Renewable Energy –2 members
1 with expertise on rural environment;
1 with expertise on renewable energy
Evaluation Expertise –1 member
1 with expertise in the evaluation of project applications
