Tipperary Tourism Company was established in 2014 following the merger of North & South Tipperary County Council. Tipperary Tourism Company was set up with the objective 'To promote market and develop Tipperary as Ireland's premier inland visitor destination in both the domestic and overseas markets. To encourage sustainability through the improvement and addition of product offering, up skilling of providers and extending visitor lengths of stay and increasing spend within the county.’
The company strives to achieve the objectives identified in the Strategic Tourism Marketing,
Experience & Destination Development Plan 2016-2021 (see link to the plan below).

Ongoing maintenance and promotion of www.tipperary.com
Engaging with the Tourism Sector and stakeholders
Market and Promote Tipperary as a tourism destination (Website, Radio, Press, social media, trade shows)
Support Tourism Product development in County Tipperary
Work with Fáilte Ireland to leverage all possible benefit to Tipperary from the development from the Ireland's Ancient East and Ireland's Hidden Heartlands region.
Coordinate,print and distribution of brochures which include Tipperary Map, Take A Hike, Butler Trail, Suir Blueway Tipperary, Lough Derg guide and Munster Vales.
Facilitate trade networking, packaging, bundling & training through workshops and seminars
Support the developement of Cashel town destination and the museum development
