Tusla’s Child and Youth Participation Award
Tipperary County Council achieved the Child and Youth Participation Award for their Quality-of-life consultation with the children and young people of Clonmel. To carry out the consultation Tipperary County Council sought to collaborate with TUS and the South Tipperary Arts Centre. The consultations took the form of focus groups with varying age cohorts from a range of schools, education centres and a third level institute. The awards ceremony took place on Thursday 28th November 2024 in the Lighthouse Cinema Dublin.
