DECISION TO CLOSE THE L-4120-0 TOOREEN/TOREEN AND FARRANREIGH, THURLES, CO. TIPPERARY.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:
L-4120-0 Tooreen/Toreen and Farranreigh, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE:
08:00hrs on Monday 11 July 2022 to 17:00hrs on Friday 15 July 2022.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
Traffic Travelling South toward Thurles
South Bound Traffic will be diverted at Rossestown Cross onto the L-8017-0. Traffic will turn right onto the L-4119-0 at Cassestown Cross and proceed in the direction of Thurles until the Mitchel St./ Bohernamona Rd Junction.

Traffic Travelling North
North Bound Traffic will be diverted at the Mitchel St./Bohernamona Rd Junction onto the L-4009-0 to Cassestown Cross. Traffic will be diverted left at Cassestown Cross onto the L-8017-0 to re-join the Rossestown Rd.
Local Access will be facilitated.

REASON FOR CLOSURE:
To facilitate the installation of two cattle underpasses.
