FIREFIGHTERS THURLES TIPPERARY

Thurles and Tipperary Town Fire Brigades are Recruiting.

Applications are invited for the position of “retained” firefighter with Thurles and Tipperary Town Fire Brigades. Possible Average Annual Earnings €18,000 to €24,000

As a retained “Fire Fighter” you will be “on-call” for periods of time during which you will be required to be available to attend emergency calls. A large proportion of retained fire-fighters maintain fulltime employment elsewhere while also fulfilling the availability requirement of the Fire Service employment subject to their employer’s willingness to release them for emergency calls.

Thurles and Tipperary Town Fire Stations will be running open nights on Friday August 6th from 7pm until 9pm. Please come in and discuss with us your potential to become a key member of your local Fire Service.

Panels may be created from which vacancies arising during the lifetime of these panels will be filled. Depending on the number of applications received shortlisting of candidates may be necessary. Shortlisting will be based on the information on your application form.
