TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROAD ROADS ACT, 1993-2015, (SECTION 75 OF THE ROADS ACT 1993) ROADS REGULATIONS, 1994

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to make an Order closing:

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
L2208-2 at Ballykerin, Ballingarry, Thurles, Co Tipperary.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE:
07:00hrs on Monday 22 March 2021 to 17:00hrs on Friday 02 April 2021.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES:
Traffic travelling along L2208 from Killballyowen to Crohane Lower will be diverted along the R691 onto R690 back onto the L2208 at Shangarry.
Local Access will be facilitated.
Diversion signs will be in place.

REASON FOR CLOSURE:
To facilitate the construction of a cattle underpass.

Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to the Roads, Transportation & Infrastructure, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh no later than 12 noon on 04 March 2021 or by e-mail to roadclosures@tipperarycoco.ie
