Tipperary County Council on behalf of TIPPERARY TOWN REVITALISATION TASKFORCE seeks to appoint the following:

Tipperary Town Revitalisation – Project Co-ordinator (3 year duration)

The Minister for Housing, Planning & Local Government announced actions to support the revitalisation of Tipperary Town to include a “Collaborative Town Health Check” and the recruitment of a project co-ordinator to develop plans, projects, funding bids, and project delivery. The Minister also announced the appointment of an independent Chair to provide independent oversight and leadership for this process which will be steered by a Taskforce established for that purpose.

This project will include extensive engagement with local stakeholders and representatives, and over a 3-year period, these measures will facilitate a partnership approach between the local community, Tipperary County Council and other key stakeholders in order to develop and deliver an action plan for the town.

This project was established to address the issues that have impacted on Tipperary Town and to oversee and direct the implementation of a Tipperary Town Action Plan.

The Project Co-ordinator shall operate under the direction of, and report to, the independent Chair of the Tipperary Town Task Force, where responsibility for overall project delivery is assigned.

The annual salary applicable to the position for the duration of the project is €52,075.

The post requires attendance for 37 hours per week and it is likely that parts of the work schedule will be outside normal office hours, so flexibility will be required.
