Tipperary County Council, pursuant to Section 35(1) of the Waste Management Act 1996 and Section 199(1) of the Local Government Act 2001 and in accordance with Part 19 of the Local Government Act 2001, hereby makes the following bye-laws:

Waste Management Bye Laws 2018

Tipperary County Council, pursuant to Section 35(1) of the Waste Management Act 1996 and Section 199(1) of the Local Government Act 2001 and in accordance with Part 19 of the Local Government Act 2001, hereby makes the following bye-laws: Tipperary (Waste Management) Bye-laws, 2018

These bye-laws shall enter into operation on the 11th of October 2018.

Waste Enforcement Policy

The implementation and enforcement of environment legislation is one of the key responsibilities of the Council’s Environment Section.

Environmental Inspection Plan- RMCEI

What is the Regulatory Authority* required to do?
Produce and submit to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) an Environmental Inspection Plan (the RMCEI Plan) prior to 01st February of each year:

Control of Horses – Adoption of Bye-Laws

Notice is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has adopted revised Bye-Laws in accordance with the Control of Horses, Act, 1996 to control the keeping , riding or driving of horses in a public place in the administrative area of Tipperary County Council including the five Municipal Districts.

Litter Management Plan

This Litter Management Plan 2018-2021 for the prevention and control of litter, sets out to achieve quantifiable improvements in the prevention of litter in Tipperary. It is intended that all measures to be undertaken are realistic and measurable.
