#reuse October 2016 is designated “Reuse Month” and it has been decided in conjunction with Southern Waste Regions Distribution of used pallets to Men’s Sheds.

6 Mens Sheds have very kindly agreed to be part of the Reuse Month for October. Borrisokane, Roscrea, Cashel, Clonmel, Tipperary Town and Cahir Mens Sheds are the participants for this exercise. Tipperary County Council sourced a number of pallets from a number of businesses in Tipperary and each group was given a number of pallets. These pallets are utilised for making bird boxes, window boxes, buddy benches and other items.

Staff from Tipperary County Council were asked to donate paint that they no longer required and there was a great response to same. Tins of paint were again re-distributed to above Mens Sheds and are been put to good use.
