Sustainable Tipp’ is the title of a co-operative energy transformation of Tipperary’s housing, commercial, public and community sectors over three years. It is a support mechanism for communities, farmers, homeowners and business owners to save energy and money and become more sustainable.
Sustainable Energy Action Plan
In 2017, Tipperary’s Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) was formally adopted by the Council. This plan was created following Tipperary’s commitment to the Covenant of Mayors. This plan sets out 32 actions to reduce Tipperary’s CO2 emissions by 30% by 2020.
