Revaluation 2019 – Valuation Office Walk In Clinics In September
The revaluation of commercial properties in the Tipperary County Council rating authority area has now been completed. Final Valuation Certificates have been posted to over 5,300 commercial and industrial ratepayers in the area.. The new valuation list will be published on 17th September, 2019 and, the new valuations take effect from 1st January 2020 and will form the basis for commercial rates in 2020 and subsequent years.
The Valuation Office will provide online facilities for inspection of the valuation list by members of the public, from 17th September, through the “Browse our Valuation Map” feature on their website at www.valoff.ie.
Walk in Clinics
Valuation Office staff will hold clinics at the dates and locations below to facilitate meeting with owners/occupiers of properties. They will explain the valuation certificates and the appeal process. No appointment is necessary. Please bring your Valuation Certificate with you.

24th September 2019, Clonmel Civic Offices, 10am to 4pm.
25th September 2019, Nenagh Civic Offices, 10am to 4pm.
If you are satisfied with your Valuation Certificate, no further action is necessary. If you are dissatisfied with the valuation fxed on the property or any details contained on the Valuation Certificate you have a right to appeal to the Valuation Tribunal, an independent body established to determine such appeals. Appeals to the Valuation Tribunal must be made no later than 14th October 2019. Please note that an appeal fee must be paid to the Valuation Tribunal with each appeal made.
