Irish Water, working in partnership with Tipperary County Council wishes to advise that the Boil Water notice that was issued on 02 November 2021 is now lifted with immediate effect. The notice has been lifted following the completion of remedial measures and the receipt of satisfactory monitoring results. This decision follows consultation undertaken with the Health Service Executive.
Colin Cunningham, Irish Water said;
"All consumers on the Carrick on Suir (Linguan) Public Water can now resume normal use of the water supply for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.
Irish Water and the Local Authority/Health Service Executive Water Liaison Group will continue to meet and will review ongoing process control, monitoring and testing of the drinking water supply."
