Tipperary County Council is taking part in the #ourcouncilday Twitter campaign today, Tuesday, 10th April, to increase engagement with the public and to raise awareness of the services provided.
Members of the public are encouraged to join in and talk to us about the services provided to your community using the hashtags #ourcouncilday or #ÁrLáSaChomhairle.
Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council, Cllr Dr Phyll Bugler, said; “Tipperary County Council is delighted to be taking part in this year’s Twitter Day campaign with a view to enhancing our communication, collaboration and information exchange with members of the public, and raising awareness of the many different services we provide.”
The 2017 campaign was a success with a total of 1,481 accounts that contribute to over 5,000 tweets. Local services such as transportation, housing, arts, heritage, the library services, fire service, civil defence plus many other aspects of the council were highlighted on the day.
