Part 8-development of 17 dwellings at Garrykennedy, Portroe Village, Nenagh

Part 8 - The development consists of the construction of a new social housing development of 17 dwellings on a 0.66 hectare development site at Garrykennedy, Portroe Village, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

ARTICLE 81 OF PART 8 OF THE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2001 (as amended)

Pursuant to the requirements above notice is hereby given that Tipperary County Council proposes to carry out the following development:

Construct 17 no. new dwelling houses comprising 5 No. 3 bedroom, two storey houses, 10 No. 2 bedroom, two storey houses & 2 No. 2 bedroom, single storey houses, roads, footpaths, underground services, drainage systems, attenuation tank, car parking, boundary treatments, landscaping, open spaces and all associated site works. The development will also include the connection to the existing foul drainage in the R494 and the connection, across an existing right of way, to the existing storm drainage in Drom Slinne estate.
The development has been the subject of an Appropriate Assessment screening in accordance with Article 6(3) of the EU Habitats Directive (Directive 92/43/EEC) and the Planning and Development Act 2000 as amended. The Appropriate Assessment screening concluded that the proposed development would not be likely to give rise to significant or indeterminate impacts on any Natura 2000 site.
Plans and particulars of the proposed developments together with the Appropriate Assessment Screening report will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy at: -

between 9:30 a.m and 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday from Thursday 7th June 2018 to Friday 6th July 2018 on all days the Offices of Tipperary County Council are open to the public within this period.
Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development will be situated, may be made in writing to Sinead Carr, Director of Services, Housing, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Emmet Street, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, the outer envelope to be marked “Housing Section – Part 8 submission in respect of proposed development at Garrykennedy, Portroe Village, Nenagh” to be received no later than 4.30 pm on Monday 23rd July 2018.
