The instream mooring structure will be 15m in length and parallel to the existing fitted jetty. The mooring will be connected to the land by a 10m gangway. The following works will take place on the eastern bank of the river upstream of Killaloe Bridge:

• Construction of new 10m access gangway to connect to main jetty via a new floating landing platform (approximately 6m in length). The gangway will connect to land through a new steel access platform;
• The existing fixed jetty is to be retained and paving stones to be lifted, levelled and relayed.
