The Severe Weather Team met this morning to review the evolving severe weather situation.
Melting snow may result in localised surface water ponding, where drains and gulleys are blocked and people are advised to watch out for accumulations of melt water which could lead to flooding;
All major Traffic routes salted and remain passable with care. Attention now focused on Local roads to ensure that access is available to the public by this evening where possible.
Council Outdoor crews continuing to clear footpaths within all the urban centres and villages throughout the county;
