Tipperary County Council have developed an online Property Portal for the County. This is a searchable dataset of available commercial properties across Tipperary. It can be accessed through the homepage of the council website www.tipperarycoco.ie and www.tipperary.ie.
This project has been a joint collaboration between the IT and Economic Development departments. This is the latest in a series of initiatives to promote Tipperary both home and abroad, as a county open and attractive to business.
The portal creates a central portfolio of available commercial property under the 5 high-level categories, Office Units| Food Production| Industrial Units| Industrial Sites| Hot Desking- Co Working Spaces.
Listings are searchable by property type as well as status i.e. To Let/For Sale etc. In general, any criteria assigned to the listing can be exposed to the end-user as a search filter.
There is an option to ‘view by listings’ with summary text and images or the user can ‘view by map’. Clicking on either reveals a full property page with photos, property details and brochure(s) attached. Featured properties can be highlighted on the Search Page, ensuring certain properties receive prominence, when relevant.
Information from daft.ie feeds automatically into the property portal, and this is maintained and updated by staff. Properties can also be added manually to the portal.
The portal contains a contact form that will generate an email directly to the Tipperary County Council Property Team.
