Tipperary County Council remains open for business and continues to provide a broad range of services throughout the current period of the national effort to delay the spread of the COVD-19 virus.
The Council are taking proactive measures to minimise the risk of infection to members of the public and to the staff of Tipperary County Council and to this end it has been necessary to restrict access to the public at all our Civic and Municipal District offices to avoid unnecessary face-to face interaction. This is so that we can manage visitor numbers and facilitate social distancing to reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus COVID 19.
Please note that we are still providing some frontline services and a full back-office service but we strongly advise the public to make contact by phone at 0761 06 5000 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org in advance of any visit to the offices to avoid unnecessary journeys as the position may change on short notice in line with national guidance. In the event that you report to the Customer Services desk at any of our offices, an appointment will be arranged for the service you require. Members of the public are also encouraged to use the post box at any of our offices to submit any application forms or other items of correspondence and we will respond to you as soon as possible.
We also reiterate the advice to heed the recommendations issued by the National Public Health Emergency Team during this current crisis. Tipperary County Council will continue to update the public as the situation evolves through social media, our website and by using the local and regional media.
