Tipperary County Council is pleased to advise that water production from the Dundrum Regional Water Supply Scheme water treatment plant at Stook, Rossmore, has resumed. Consequent on works undertaken overnight, the plant recommenced operations at 01.00 am today. However, while treated water is being distributed through the water supply network, it will be a number of hours before all customers will experience a full restoration of supply. This will apply to areas at the extremity of the network or elevated areas (such as Carhue).
Water Services, as the agent of Irish Water, apologies for the inconvenience caused to customers by this water outage.
