Tipperary County Council, as the agent of Irish Water, wishes to advise customers that low reservoir levels are causing supply disruptions to Cashel and surrounding areas, particularly locations on high ground.
A water tanker has been in place at St. Patrick's Hospital, Cahir Road, Cashel since 3.10 pm today (Sunday) to facilitate the supply of drinking water to affected customers. Customers are advised to bring their own containers to fill and to boil the water before use.
Meanwhile, some customers may experience a change in the taste and characteristics of their water supply such as increased water hardness.
Crews are working to resolve this matter as soon as possible.
It is recommended that users do not run their taps to help conserve water.
Tipperary County Council, as the agent of Irish Water, regrets any inconvenience caused to the affected consumers. If you need to contact Irish Water about this supply and service alert, please quote this unique alert reference number: TIP018991
