NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED Western Park, Cantwell Street, Irishtown (east of Cantwell Street), Albert Street, St. Mary's Place, Gravel Walk, O'Neill Street, Joyce's Lane, Wolfe Tone Street, Grubb's Court, Mary Street, Bridge Street, Old Quay, New Quay, O'Connell Street, Gladstone Street, Sarsfield Street, Abbey Street, Bank Lane, Market Street, Emmet Street, Dowd’s Lane, Nelson Street, Parnell Street, College Street, Anglesea Street, Wellington Street.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 08:00hrs on Sunday 17 March 2024 to 20:00hrs on Sunday 17 March 2024
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic travelling from Irishtown to Davis Road is via Western Road, Queen Street, Kickham Park, Kickham Street and Dillon Street.

Traffic travelling from the Davis Road to Irishtown is via the Old Waterford Road, Gas House Bridge, Raheen Road, Old Bridge, Dungarvan Road and Convent Road.

Traffic travelling from Mary Street to the Old Bridge is via Queen Street, Western Road, Connolly Park, Convent Road and Dungarvan Road.

Local access will be granted for residents.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

CLOSURE: 12.00hrs on the 28th of February 2024 to 18.00hrs on Friday the 1st of March 2024
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Local access will be maintained and Diversions will be in place.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:
ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: L-4156 Ballymureen to Pouldine, Co. Tipperary
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: • Phase 1 (West of the N62) – from 00.00hrs on the 11th March 2024 to 00.00hrs 28th April 2024

• Phase 2 (East of the N62) – From 00.00hrs on the 29th April 2024 to 00.00hrs on the 17th May 2024

ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Phase 1:
Traffic travelling west towards Holycross should divert towards Thurles on the N62. Turn left onto the L-4017 Clongour, and left again onto the R659 in the direction of Holycross.

Traffic travelling east towards Moycarky should divert towards Thurles on the R659, turning right onto the L-4017, and right again onto the N62 towards Horse and Jockey.

Phase 2:
Traffic travelling south on the R639 will continue as far as Horse and Jockey turning right onto the L4150 in the direction of Thurles, crossing the M8 intersection to join the N62 and continue their onward journey.

Traffic travelling east on the L-4156 from Holycross and traffic travelling south from Thurles on the N62 will continue on the N62 crossing the M8 intersection onto the L-4150 to Horse and Jockey turning left on the R-639 and continue their onward journey.

All diversion routes will be fully signed.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To facilitate the laying of a new watermain
