Liam Gleeson, represents Kilriffith ~ Kilmore Group Water Scheme on the RWMC and is a Member of SHS. Liam presented pesented a copy of "Mining the Past", 2017 edition, to the RWMC Chairman, Councillor Mattie Ryan on 9th May. The Rural Water Team is very grateful for the gift and will be using the Chapter, "Flow Gently Sweet Water ~ The Birth of a Group Scheme", written by Liam and James (Hanley), in visits to various National Schools in Tipperary. Group Water Schemes through their commitment to their communities have enabled a strong rural community and agricultural sector to thrive in Tipperary. Currently the focus of the Rural Water Team is on promoting the vital contribution of Group Water Schemes to community life, water quality and conservation. Ní neart go cur le chéile.
