PRINTS FOR SCHOOLS: An opportunity for Second Level Schools to utilise unique artworks in curriculum delivery.

An exhibition of thirty two contemporary prints by Irish artists is available on loan from the Tipperary Arts Office for cultural and educational purposes.

The prints are specially packed for easy handling and transport and include works by well known Irish Printmakers including Alice Hanratty, Des Mac Mahon and David Lilburn. In addition, printmaking workshops will be offered to participating schools while the exhibition is in the school.

Schools may use the exhibition to enhance the art curriculum in a variety of ways to suit their requirements e.g. a school may choose to hang a selection of works in a public area of the school or in the art room or may show the full exhibition at once.

It is up to each individual school to use these original works as they see fit to meet their needs and resources. We are open to how the exhibition is utilised by individual schools. If you are interested in borrowing this exhibition or require more information please contact Ann-Marie Keaveney, at the Arts Office on ph: 0761 06 6448 or annmarie.keaveney@tipperarycoco.ie.

This opportunity is being offered on a first come, first served basis and is available to secondary schools throughout County Tipperary. Transport of works to and from your school will be organised by the Arts Office.

Evidence of Insurance must be submitted by the school in advance of delivery, covering the works while they are in the schools.
