Textile Bank Service

Tipperary has 80 clothes/textile receptacles at bring bank locations which are owned and managed by the local authority, coloured a bright orange with the local authority logo.

The aim of the service is to increase the recycling levels of textiles, in enabling members of the public to dispose of unwanted clothes in support of the circular economy.

The items are segregated into reusable clothes and waste. All material collected is tracked and traceable to the end destination.

These banks are emptied weekly by the service provider. The contact numbers to notify the provider when the bank is full is 087 221077 /087 6311698/01 4642676 or the Environment & Climate Action Section of Tipperary Co Co at 0818 06 5000.
