In June 2019 Tipperary County Council will commence the formation of the Tipperary Older Peoples Council hosting public meetings across the county. The public meetings will be held across the 5 Municipal Districts.
Roscrea has been very proactive in developing Age Friendly and we will work with the partners there in progressing Roscrea as Tipperary’s first Age Friendly Town.

These public meetings will provide a platform to discuss the pillars of Age Friendly across Ireland and the Tipperary Age Friendly Strategy ambitions, but also seek expressions of interest for people to participate in Tipperary’s first Older Peoples Council.

Clonmel Park Hotel 10am-12 noon Thursday 6th of June
Abbey Court Hotel Nenagh 10am-12 noon Tuesday 11th of June
Carraig Hotel, Carrick on Suir 10am-12 noon Wednesday 12th of June
Anner Hotel, Thurles 10am-12 noon Tuesday 25th of June
Knockanrawley Resource Centre 10am-12 noon Wednesday 26th of June
