TIPPERARY HOLY WELLS AUDIT

In 2021 Tipperary Heritage Office commissioned an audit of Holy Wells in County Tipperary. You can find a report with some preliminary findings below with the full findings made available in November 2022.

There are over hundred known holy wells in County Tipperary, but there may be more.

In 2021 given the period of lockdown at the start of the year and uncertainty due to covid Tipperary Heritage Office commissioned a desk top study of Holy Wells in the County.
