Decision To Close The L-25121-0 Horsepasture And The L-2512-0 Doon/Horsepasture, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROAD TO
BE CLOSED: The L-25121-0 Horsepasture and the L-2512-0 Doon/Horsepasture, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 07:00hrs on Monday 10 August 2026 to 20:00hrs on Friday 13 November 2026.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: Traffic will be diverted via R-689, N24 and the L-3618.
REASON FOR CLOSURE: To carry out works for the grid route for the Horsepasture solar farm.

Temporary Traffic Management on the N76 Ormande Stores, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
From 08.00hrs to 19.00hrs on the 04 August 2026.
Stop and Go will be in operation, Delays are expected.

Decision to close the M7 Motorway between J23 (Moneygall) and Junction 24 (Toomevara), Co. Tipperary.

Temporary Traffic Management on the R445 Bridhill Village, Co. Tipperary.
From the 27 July 2026 to the 30 April 2027.
Traffic Management in place.
Stop - go traffic light system in place throughout various periods outside of peak traffic times

Decision to close the M8 Motorway between J6 (Horse and Jockey) and J7 (Cashel), Co. Tipperary.

Temporary Traffic Management on the N24 Knockagh to Derrygrath, Co. Tipperary.
From the 27 July 2026 to the 20 November 2026.
Stop & Go will be in operation. Delays are expected.

The L-4131 The Ragg to Templemore Road, Co. Tipperary is now reopened

Temporary Traffic Management on the L-4155 Moycarky Village, Co. Tipperary.
From 16 July 2026 to the 17 July 2026.
Diversions will be in place.

Decision To Close Roads To Facilitate The Boston Scientific Half Marathon 2026.

NOTICE is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Order closing:

ROADS TO
BE CLOSED: • Emmet Street L-3606 (Garda station up around by the Post Office) 10.30 - 12
• Market Street R-884 -6 (from Gladstone Street leading onto Emmet Street) 10.30 to 12
• Richmond Road L-3606-1 (at the side of the Post Office) 10.30 to 12
• College Avenue L-3622-1 - 10.30 - 12
• Dillon Street R-707 -5 (from the Crescent junction to the small roundabout on the Waterford road) 10.30 - 12
• St Thomas’s Bridge L-6513 – 10 – 11.3
PERIOD OF
CLOSURE: 10:00hrs on Sunday 23 August 2026 to 12:00hrs on Sunday 23 August 2026.
ALTERNATIVE
ROUTES: • Traffic will be stopped at Kickham Street L-3609 to avoid getting onto Richmond Road L-3606-1.
• Traffic will be stopped at the top of Gladstone Street R-688 by the Church and directed through the carpark to avoid going down and trying to turn onto Market Street R-884 -6 and therefore Emmet Street L-3606. This will also mean no traffic on Parnell Street R-884.
• Traffic diverted from Dillon Street R-707 -5 will be able to go through the Ard Na Greine L-3601/ O’ Rahilly Ave L- 7602 Road estates.
