Annual Maintenance Subsidy for Group Water Schemes

Description: 

Maintenance Subsidy payable to Group Water Schemes only, and to assist with day to day expenditure. One applies this year on last year's expenditure. Closing date is 30th June each year.

Group Schemes

Community groups also may produce drinking water. These schemes are called Group Water Supply Schemes. These schemes are operated and managed by the Group. A Group can consist of as few as 2 residences. Such groups in this county, receive subsidies from the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government. Tipperary County Council provides technical and administrative advice to these groups and administers the grants and subsidy schemes on behalf of the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government.
