NOTICE OF MAKING THE CLONMEL AND ENVIRONS DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2013

Notice is hereby given, under Section 12(12)(a) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 - 2012, that Clonmel Borough Council and South Tipperary County Council, being the Planning Authorities for Clonmel Town and its Environs, have made the Clonmel and Environs Development Plan 2013 - 2019 for the administrative area of Clonmel Borough Council and that part of South Tipperary located within the Environs of Clonmel Town. The Clonmel and Environs Development Plan 2013 – 2019 was adopted by the members of Clonmel Borough Council on the 1st of October 2013 and South Tipperary County Council on the 7th of October and came into effect on 4th of November 2013.

Notice is also given under Article 13I of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 – 2013 that the Clonmel and Environs Development Plan 2013 - 2019 is accompanied by an Environmental Report which has been prepared in accordance of the Planning and Development (Strategic Environmental Assessment) Regulations 2004 and Strategic Environmental Assessment (Amendment) Regulations 2011 and an Appropriate Assessment Screening Report pursuant to Section 177U, Part XAB of the Planning and Development Acts 2000 – 2012 and Article 6 of the Habitats Directive (92/43/EEC).

Copies of the Clonmel and Environs Development Plan 2013-2019 and the Environmental Statement are also available for inspection at the following locations:

Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary
The above offices are open to the public from 9.30 am – 4.30pm excluding weekends and public holidays.
