TIPPERARY COUNTY COUNCIL

LOCAL IMPROVEMENT SCHEME (LIS) 2026/2027 – NON-PUBLIC ROADS

Applications are invited for the Local Improvement Scheme which applies to non-public (Private) accommodation roads.  Projects must benefit two or more parcels of land owned or occupied by different persons (one of which must be engaged in agricultural activities) or serve the public as an amenity road.

Due to changes to the guidelines, all previous applicants who were unsuccessful are required to re-apply for consideration in 2026-2027.

LIS Grant is subject to funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht (DRCDG).  

The closing date for receipt of completed applications for the 2026-2027 Scheme is Friday 13th February 2026 at 4.30pm.
