Litter Management Plan Consultation

Local authorities prepare plans to prevent and control litter. You can have an input into the plans through consultation.

Litter Management Plan

The Tipperary County Council Litter Management Plan 2024 – 2026 was adopted at Council Plenary Meeting, 27th October 2023. The plan sets objectives and actions for the prevention, control, and management of litter across the county for the period.

Through collaboration with local communities and stakeholders, the Plans 7 high level objectives and 54 actions seek to prevent and control litter over the next three year period.

Litter can have a detrimental effect on our wildlife and our enjoyment of local amenities, and can impact potential investment and tourism. This plan aims to ensure that our county remains an attractive place for the people who live, visit, work, and do business here, now and for the future.

The plan can be viewed here Litter Management Plan 2024-2026  and is also available for public inspection at Civic Offices at Clonmel and Nenagh, during normal office hours.
